What is Game Socks?

We're an online game store that sells games from dozens of unique developers. We let you download and try all games for free, with no obligation to buy and no strings attached. All our games are 100% safe to download. They come with ABSOLUTELY NO spyware, adware, viruses, or malware of any kind.

If you decide not to buy a game, all you have to do is uninstall it. It's as simple as that. Our games won't leave any nasty surprises behind on your PC. If you do decide to buy a game, you can do so safely and securely online directly inside the game... and usually you don't have to download anything else - the game is automatically upgraded to the full version then and there.

Do you have Mac games?

Yes, we have a nifty Game Socks Mac store with Mac OS X versions of many of our Windows games! Check it out and tell your Mac friends!

Hey, how come all you have now are Big Fish Games?

Unfortunately, in these hard economic times our publisher and payment processor, Reflexive Entertainment, has decided to drop out of the publishing business. This has resulted in us having to remove many, many excellent titles from our store. The decision has shaken the foundation of Game Socks, and left us searching for a new publisher. In the meantime, we are offering games from Big Fish Games' catalog.

Will Super Funtime Mega Game work on my computer?

Please check the requirements listed under the game description. If you're not sure, feel free to download the game and try it on your computer. If the free trial version works with no problems, the full version will work without problems as well, because they're essentially identical.

Can I get a CD backup copy of a game or a game box shipped to me?

You can get a CD backup copy of your game, for a small extra charge.

I don't have a credit card. Can I still buy a game?

Possibly. We also accept Paypal.

Note: Because it was such a small percentage of our sales, we no longer accept checks or money orders through the mail. If there is sufficient demand we may begin accepting pay-by-mail orders again, but at this time we regret that all orders must be paid for online. Sorry!

What's the purple sock's name?

The purple sock is Buster. (The orange sock is Wally.)
